Cascara Tea
Cascara is the fruit of the coffee cherry. After harvesting, the seeds (or coffee beans) are removed and the fruit is dried. This incredible delicacy is then steeped in hot water and brewed as a tea.
This drink is a very fruity and herbal tea that boasts notes of hibiscus, apple cider, and cherry with a balanced taste. The caffeine content of a cup of cascara is roughly a fifth of that of a regular cup of coffee.
To prepare the tea, steep 7.5 grams of cascara in 8 oz of boiling water for 5 minutes.
Small jar - 3 servings
Large jar - 14 servings
